Back when I was young we had to listen to the BBC. Then along came pirate radio - so called because they broadcast from a fishing vessel just outside the territorial limits - that played pop and rock every night! Radio Caroline decided to locate themselves in Manx waters. We had great reception! This year they are celebrating their 40th reunion. How I remember tuning in my little Sanyo transistor radio (totally cool at the time) and listening as they brought us all those great sounds of the 60s and 70s.
