Formerly known as ‘Mabon’, the award-wining Welsh band will be
bringing their octane fuelled Celtic musical extravaganza to the Isle of Man on
the 19th November, when they play at the Centenary Centre in Peel as
part of their UK tour.
There are plenty of reasons to stop off on the Island, with two band
members married to Manx girls Rachel Pressley and GrĂ¡inne Joughin, and the
first appearance on the Isle of Man of musician Adam Rhodes (member of local
band King Chiaullee) in the band’s line-up playing bouzouki.
The band’s vibrant instrumental reputation is now consolidated by a
selection of songs penned by front man Jamie Smith, although their exuberant,
irresistible Celtic dance music continues to dominate their performance.
Starting at 8.00pm tickets are priced at £12 from Thompson Travel, Celtic
Gold, Peter Norris Music and Shakti Man.
